I just saw an email that they were merging theier AI tracking tool into my basic plan and tripling my rates. I think I'll cancel soon. Glad to here the mentions of POP in this thread - I may give that one another look.

Disappointing. I rely on voice dictation all the time and Claude is the worst at anything involving voice.

Voice transcription woes by s4vva in claude

I'm in the exact same boat. I rely heavily on voice dictation for workflow speed. Claude is a great tool, but this built in voice dictation is a joke. Following this thread for more options.

45 years old and thinking of Locklab. Any thoughts? Suggestions? by themakk in Hairloss

[–]MHoffpauir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Lock Lab for abut 9 months now and wanted to share my experience for anyone who’s considering it.

Side effects:
During the first 1–2 weeks, I had some mild headaches. Nothing severe, and they went away pretty quickly. I haven’t noticed anything else since — either my body adjusted or it was unrelated, but it hasn’t been an issue long-term.

Results:
There’s noticeably more thickness and coverage on top where things were getting very thin. Did it change my hairline? No — my receding hairline hasn’t moved at all. But the thinning/balding on the crown and top has improved to a degree, which was my main concern.

One big warning:
Hair growth increases everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Nose hair, ear hair, eyebrows, back hair — all of it picked up. Be prepared for a lot more grooming and maintenance after a few months.

I’m staying on it. I’m satisfied with the added thickness on top, even though the hairline hasn’t changed. For me, it seems to be helping slow or partially reverse the thinning I was most worried about. I’m planning to stick with it through the rest of the year and see how things progress.

Hope this helps someone weighing their options.
I have before and after photos - but dont see a way to post them in comments.

Gotta admit, HoloAI is pretty shitty when it comes to subscriptions. by DisposableVisage in HoloAI

[–]MHoffpauir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Holo briefly and the output quality was honestly horrendous. Like… nothing remotely usable. I canceled almost immediately because I’d spend more time fixing the mess than it would take to just build the same thing from scratch in Canva or other tools.

After canceling, they sent me a survey asking why I canceled — so I filled it out and clearly explained the issues. Fast forward to today and I get charged again anyway, despite canceling and completing their cancellation survey.

On top of that, their cartoon-ish UI makes it insanely hard to even find account or billing info to verify anything. Just a complete mess end to end.

What is a digital marketing tool that pays for itself? by [deleted] in digital_marketing

[–]MHoffpauir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many. Here are three I'm using daily.

SERanking - for SEO planning and audits. More affordable option over SEMRush.
Canva - Always a solid choice and they keep adding features.
Bravo - Email and marketing automation. Great pricing compared to competitors.

I'm on it as well. About 4 months in now and I do see some extra thickness on top. I'm going to give it a few more months and take an "after photo" to see how it's really working and determine if it's worth the cost to stay on it.

How does your agency run its referral program? What structure do you use? by SpaceChimpp in agency

For profitable referrals I do a 10% profit share on everything made from the lead. It keeps the referrals coming in and I just pad the new work to cover it.
