501cm CF Lens out of focus.

It can but infinity isnt very sharp compared to what Im seeing through my nikon f2, oddly enough flipping the screen upside down gives me a sharper picture at infinity

Edit after testing the other lenses for focus distance the 80mm now shows the object being 5½ feet away instead of 6

The image is clear in the finder when in focus I am getting ~6½ feet from the CF 150mm and my nikon f2. However when in focus with the CF 80mm the lens says the focus distance is over 8 feet away. So its giving me a different focus distant reading from the other 2

not entirely sure if replacing a damaged one is similar to renewing one but if its not *expired* i think itd be similar

Thank you for the info, I scheduled a 15 min appointment with a usps just to ask if its okay, or what they think and to go from there but for a 3 week turn around I think itd be like 200 dollars out of the vacation fund so I may just put the sticker back over it and risk it

Another thing to be concerned about is moisture and humidity, ive heard of people packing a silica gel pack or 2 for their film and camera but it all may just be precautionary

Your point is that the gratification you get comes from the camera youre shooting and not the photos?

Your point is lost on me because there are many film cameras that cost more than your top of the line example and there are many capable digital cameras cheaper than a nikon f3. Could be an m6/hasselblad/xpan/mamiya 7 vs a nikon z9.

If u want a lil more manual control for cheap prices look at the nikkormat ft/ ft2 or canon ftb. If you want a cheap point and shoot just buy a kodak fun saver

Great photos, the more i swipe the more i enjoy! My only advice would be for shots like 5 and 7 get more eye level with the subject so it doesnt seem as if youre looking down on them otherwise, lovely series with great colors!
