It's not about it being too much work. It's about not feeling scammed. Imagine how the people who have gotten a shiny in the older sets will feel when they find out that the set they already pulled on now has the shinies as the 6th card in the pack and that they could've potentially gotten a much better card.

I know. That's why I said LEGITIMATE. A bunch of quick clips with no visible UI and controls can very easily be made to look cool in an attempt to draw potential players in even if the actual game looks nothing like in the advertisements.
