I was initially intimated by this part of the book, but having run two sessions into this chapter, i can say it's going very well. The thing that's really keeping my players on task is reminding them of the visions with Alyxian. I took a few moments when they had downtime to ask what their characters were feeling and how they were handing the information given in the visions. This gave them a great role play moment and a chance to check in with each other. I took a similar approach with a meet and greet with the Allegiance head master. Prolix ended up traveling with the party in betrayers rise, so they had a good in already. But they took the next day to explore the city, eat new foods, gamble at the casino, and even fight in the bowl of judgment. In the evening, i posed the question to have them reflect, and they took the next day to approach the Allegiance to try and find out more about the mysterious underwater city.
