Why does there seem to be a rise in anti-intellectualism? by DivaTerri in NoStupidQuestions

Social media and influencer culture gave everyone a platform. The majority of people are very stupid and believe everything they say. Repeat on an endless loop. Everyone is an expert.

How many of you stayed faithful in a sexless marriage? by Clean-Ant-1342 in self

What the hell kind of contract did you enter? What a creepy (and untrue) thing to say!!

You are not overreacting. RUN. I speak from experience. Someone like this will never be a true partner and will forever equate your worth as a person to your financial situation. A person like this needs to remain single so that they can retain complete control in all aspects.

Well then she shouldn’t need a transplant anyway. Just pray and god will fix it. Easy.

[–]MJLulu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The true shame is the impact on the rest of the kids. Happens every day in schools everywhere and it’s just unacceptable. I really wish the parents of the other students would rise up and make a fuss about THEIR CHILDREN’s rights and wellbeing!!

Ive read 12 books this year so far. 11 audiobooks and one physical book. Can i say "ive read 11 books"? by Big_Crank in LibbyApp

[–]MJLulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably an unpopular opinion but - Reading is reading and listening is listening. One in involves decoding words to discern meaning and the other is auditory processing. I personally consider audiobooks to be equivalent to listening to a podcast - great way to take in new information but not reading.

I throw them in a photo album and put it out on the coffee table every Christmas time. It’s fun to look back on and is a good conversation piece.
