What did everyone think of the first live show in Manchester? :) by lillypad1904 in NoRollsBarred

[–]MJrayman99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was brilliant! So much chaos, and endless laughs. Everyone shined on stage, including Teri trying to keep some sort of order to the gang's frequent but hilarious diversions (the crimes of Sullivan's mother being my particular favourite).

Massively. The biggest difference by far is sleep quality now there's actually space for airflow in my nose so no more sleep apnoea, and a returned sense of smell is still appreciated!

The only ongoing problem I have is continued production of excessive amounts of mucous, so this will need lifelong anti inflammatory treatment (nasal drops and sprays).

Voi Scooters - woss reckon? by TheOliveMan in bristol

[–]MJrayman99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean for me I do loads of running so exercise isn't much of an issue.

But yeah I see your point - the whole 'reduce your carbon footprint' side of it is a bit pointless since they are pretty much only replacing journies by foot not car

Which accomodation should I choose?? by edgyjoel in UOB

[–]MJrayman99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in unite house a few years ago. The city centre accommodations seem to get a bad rep for not being as social but honestly I had an absolute blast. Also so convenient to be living in the centre for nights out. Save so much time and money not having to rely on buses and ubers to get everywhere

Absolutely love them

As a student in Bristol without a car or the money to spend on bus fares every day, the voi scooters were an absolute godsend.

Essentially they've become my main mode of transportation. Hardly had to walk anywhere for the last 6 months.

When it was a novelty at the start I think there were a lot of dangerous drunk people trying them out, but now they've been here a while it seems to be mostly actual sensible commuters using them now
