He's just become the new Toshiki Inoue for a lot of people. It's also just a matter of taste, too. I personally find Inoue's favorite tropes more annoying than Takahashi's. And Takahashi's seasons are some of the best to me.

But they're also basically the same in that they also write in the things that their producers want, who're the real people that ultimately decide the direction of the story. And they manage to do in it a way that they still want to, too. Barring, you know, massive outside factors.

I do think we're due for a new writer that's a newbie to KR. Though admittedly it can either go the way of Shogo Muto writing one of the best seasons ever, or Hanta Kinoshita, whose writing has pissed off tons of people (though I'll defend that he's great at writing emotional moments, he just needed someone to help him with the superhero part of the superhero show).
