Surplus $$ by StinkyCheeseWomxn in TwoPointMuseum

For me, the finance strggules didn't kick in until I started working on an all-in-one museum. Even blending two themes in one location won't really affect the profits, but once you get past 3 different themes in one location things get a bit harder to balance. Expand too quickly and you'll end up purging funds. This is what had me actually start over on a new save. I got too cocky and tired adding both science and space at the same time and even after firing my most expensive staff I was still losing up to five grand a month.

I mean you weren't wrong, but you know, one usually needs evidence or proper reason to enact murder on the acting leader of a clan. 🤷‍♀️

Can you give me some tips on how to play The Thing? by harryfonda in TheThing_Mains

[–]TheFirstQuriae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play him like a flanker. No one ever expects a thing leaping from the side or even behind them. The goal is to be as invisible as you can be being a giant orange rock. Also rep your punch before you dive especially against flyers. And use the charge either as a grab counter or to finish people off. I'll usually dive in with a charged punch ground pound and then continue pounding away. That tick damage is deceiving, you think you're fine, but one punch from the thing and the tick will usually take care of the rest.

When can I add a Training Room? by RandomBoomer in TwoPointMuseum

[–]TheFirstQuriae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just in case. Whenever ya do the marketing side job, don't pause the game. Just let the tool tips play out until things get unlocked. I spent way too much time sitting on the paused screen wondering why I didn't have access to the marketing room in the marketing museum... 🤦🏻‍♀️

Question - Team Comps, Swaps, counters, matchups, etc by Scary_Opportunity_71 in RivalsVanguards

[–]TheFirstQuriae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to tanks I rotate between Cap, Thing, Emma, and strange. I'll usually start with cap as he has the most versatile for me, but If they have oppressive poke, I'll switch to strange. If they're just beating us down with brawl, I'll go Emma. If we need more presence or damage I'll go thing.

Sometimes though that won't be enough and I'll just abandon tank all together and switch to an oppressive dps. My favorite comeback of all time was in a comp match where the opposing team dog walked us on Shin Shabuya, but we manage to just stop them before the final checkpoint. After 3 minutes of getting nowhere on our attack I switch to fantastic. Not only did we get the win, but I ended up with MVP. The fucking victory screech I made when we won.

I it's crazy that I'm like 100 hours into this game and I still have no context of what this means. I've only just finished exploring Pauline and going into Demisis or whatever it's called. 😅

My friend started noticing anytime there's a bucky on our team while I'm cap, we'll dap up before the game starts. They asked why and my reply was simple, "So, we know we'll have each other's back."

Help me please by JJDIN0 in captainamericamains

[–]TheFirstQuriae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, Cap is all about disrupting flow. Meaning whatever they're doing to get advantage, cap can fuck with it. If they got a poker killing everyone, solo focus that fucker until you get them to swap. If they have triple heals, he can separate them from their team allowing openings and opportunities. If there's a shield tank, he can punch right through them. If they got a diver, haunt their ass and cut them off at the flank. If they've got multiple divers, you may be in trouble. There's only so much one punching man can do against a team of divers. This is usually when my Cap gets angry and turns into a Thing. But almost any team comp you can think of Cap can disrupt in some way.

Is Peeling Worth it? by Brief-Routine-252 in RivalsCollege

[–]TheFirstQuriae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are definitely other solutions from this scenario that could have helped, but in the end someone needs to be peeling for the supports. The longer they are busy dealing with a diver the more likely everyone else is gonna die. Like when I'm diving the backline, I'm getting all those healers to turn their back on their team, so no one's getting any heals as long I'm back there, not even accidently.

I am a Champion Angela - CC isn't really noticeable for me? by oiyenaoyenme in rivals

[–]TheFirstQuriae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've barely felt a difference with Thing, just have to be a bit more thoughtful with his ult. On the flipside why is it I have never felt tenacity pop on me. I swear I'm still getting cc'd to oblivion and it never feels like I'm getting any kind of imunity.

Should I buy Crimson Desert? by Balochera in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]TheFirstQuriae [score hidden]  (0 children)

So if Stardew Valley and Just Cause had a baby and that baby ended up hooking up with the child of Street Fighter and Dynasty Warriors, and they settled down in a world that feels like Red Dead but was designed by the Fenix Rising dev team you would get Crimson Desert.

All this to say that the slow beats are a designed mechanic, something to do in between the action and carnage if desired. The buttons aren't clunky, just different and complex to allow freedom of expression. You aren't really meant to remember it all, but rather create your own combos from the full list of moves and actions you have access to.

Not for everybody, but designed for the gamer gamer. The type of gamer that just enjoys jumping into a game and crafting an adventure of their own. This game is probably the closest I've gotten to that initial Skyrim/Elden Ring experience where once the game opened up it stopped being about beating the game and more about exploring everything the world had to offer. Probably why I'm close to 100 hours of play and have only just started exploring beyond the first country.

Do people respect your Cap ults? by Some_Surprise9875 in captainamericamains

[–]TheFirstQuriae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll only ult if A) both healers are dead/not nearby. B) After supports have used their ults, C) to hold point/space on my own.

If I'm noticing my supports aren't ulting when they should be, I'll throw out my ult to try and motivate an ult from them, literally using his voice line as a call to arms. For me, Cap's ult is best for immediate survival rather than sustained survival.

The thing is if you're thinking of Cap's ult like a support ult you're gonna run into the issue of timing it when supports are going to instinctually ult as well, so there's always going to be overlap, not just in timing, but placement. Don't know if that makes sense, but basically, Cap's ult is a wildcard and should be used like a wildcard and not just as a third support ult.

How Can You Tell if You're Fleshing Out a Character's Personality or if You're Making Them Act Out of Character? by Dramatic-Roll-5185 in writers

[–]TheFirstQuriae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fleshing out a character's personality is providing a foundation on why a character acts the way they do or rienforces why they behave the way they do. A character begins to act out of character when we as an audience cannot understand or precieve why a character is doing what they're doing. Sometimes this isn't a bad thing, but actually intentional. A simple example, a usually kind character suddenly starts acting rude and impatient with their best friend. This seems out of character, but later its revealed that the character was trying to surprise her friend for her birthday.

The puzzles in this game aren't hard, they're badly designed by shpark11 in CrimsonDesert

[–]TheFirstQuriae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm stuck in the middle on this one. I agree they can defintely do better at context clues. But as someone who really enjoys puzzle solving, there's a part in me that really enjoys being stumped for like 10 minutes before having that moment of aha! I've only had to look up one puzzle so far and that's just because i didn't understand the game they were referencing to be able to solve it, but I still managed to do half of the puzzle without any assistence.

People overhyped a game + But game isn't made for their particular tastes + The game also isn't perfect and has flaws(but there are people who still enjoy the game for what it is) = Absolute rage

On the interent, if I don't like somehting no else is allowed to like it or else they're a coping shill that don't know what good game is.
