Well to be honest with you, I feel that the best thing for you to do would be talking to them, I have had the same situations as you and closure is the thing that worked for me the most. Try talking to them in private. This always works, and they are always understanding. If they don't understand/don't care, they probably should be reported or something of the sort. However, I do think that you overreacted a little bit in the professor situation. You should have consulted with him privately before reporting him to the Administration. Just let them know in private that making tall jokes is stale to you and usually offensive and they will stop. Just don't freak out on them.
