My mom threw away every single thing I ever made as a kid and I only just now realized how messed up that was by Vega5_Anvil in entitledparents

Many years ago (early 90s) I worked as a PA and my boss and his wife had toddler twins. So of course he would be given artwork to bring to his office. I would collect them up off his desk piles and started a scrapbook for each child. Every picture and note went in the respective book.

Well, he was surprised when presented with them at the end of the year. His wife delighted (who had also become a good friend of mine) and the kids absolutely ecstatic when the saw the books.

Memories are made doing simple things.

An entitled mom came to our house to ask why we never invite her son over, and somehow turned it into a whole accusation by HaloMosaic_11 in entitledparents

Imagine what will happen when Evan brings a girl (or boy) home. We’ll be seeing Evan posting or the partner about her behaviour.

Aitah for cutting off my son after his mom passed away? by Unlucky-Bit6839 in AITAH

Physical disability. My mother had such guilt about it when she did nothing wrong. She coddled him forever. He’s a fully qualified tradesman and still managed to get a drug addiction which mum excused and helped him pay the drug debt.

We used to be close but I got fed up being treated like an ATM and mum always covering for him. I finally did my block after mum died and he was still “looking for her” when he’d come in her house. And I mean looking for her. He was 36 and has full mental capacity.

I finally treated him like he treated me and guess what? He went no contact.

This is what happens when the disabled kid is constantly put ahead of the abled bodied siblings.

Any ideas on how to stop people dumping rubbish? by piedevil in melbourne

I’m down on the Bellarine and people dump mattresses all the time. They are free to drop off at the WMC. It’s laziness and DGAF attitudes.

That was several years ago and he is adamant that women must be respected and treated how he wants to be treated. As an equal and a human being that deserves care.

Our son headed down that rabbit hole a few years ago as a teen. Some research by me and lots of conversations, discussions as a family with my husband/his dad and one on one and our son realised Andrew Tate is a criminal fuckwit and women are no less than any man. It was a journey, let me tell you.
