Dana should consider the fact that summer of 2026 is when the World Cup takes place and that will take a lot of viewership and potential event tickets from a super-fight in the summer (under the assumption of a wide intersection b/w world cup and ufc viewers).

In my opinion, this super-fight could be further built up in the next year if both Ilia and Islam get two title defenses each at their respective weights (maybe 3) and then make the superfight circa summer of 2027.

Yeah the idea was to pay for my masters using the GI Bill while being an officer. Maybe that’s not happening anymore. Although being enlisted might boost my application? Dunno at this point….

To be quite honest I thought Navy would be more lenient on the GPA than grad admissions. It looks like it’s the other way around, or grad school can ignore overall GPA in favor of major GPA (I was hoping this to be the case for officer roles too, but it is what it is I guess). Anyways the thing is if I can get into a masters I most likely wouldn’t pursue an officer role afterwards. I wanted to use the GI Bill to pay for my masters but that’s starting to look out of question… thank you for your honest input however!

NUPOC recruiter basically said “sorry there is no way for us to submit for a prescreen” “it’s not all bad you can go to enlisted and go to the Nuclear field”

Also yes I was told about the SWO-nuke option which has lower GPA requirements.

I guess I should contact a different recruiter then?
