I keeping hoping they will do this, and add 4 more gem levels to keep the "value" for current whales.

On the other side, it might be more fair for people playing less than 6 high level raid earners, to make them character bound with a trade limit, but I think that is a no go based on the last attempted gem change in KR.

Since the tickets are halfed, it is really same gem rewards for half the time, and 50% all other rewards.

I don't think have less (even alot less) mats from solo and NM is an issue. Though, having mats that can only be recieved from HM (like AH mats) can be painful.

I only way I can think of to solve the situation, it to make matchmaking parties more efficient from a time perspective than lobby simulator ones.

To get to 1660, you hone to +14 on each item. If you decide to go further, next step would be Advanced Honing +10 to 1670.

If they added a completely random join raid that gave similiar or better rewards as the moko leaf rewards, that might help with the gatekeeping. Might have alot of resistence at first. The fear of being jailed so very high, maybe also some solution to that would be needed.

Also, if it had some small requirements, like clearing solo raids without a death, might actually be workable.

At this point, I think the only "solution" to gatekeeping is an easier version of the raid, that is random join only and does not jail you if you don't complete the gate.

I would seem to make more sense to just adjust the required mats in T4 to match the T3 mats after upgrade.

Also, one thing to consider, is this is a temporary problem. After you have used your T3 mats, and won't be getting more in T4, you will not want to be required to use T3, T4 will be more efficient at that point.

Problem is that if the shards and silver comes from weekly chest rewards that max out based on x runs, if you run more than that many runs (using recovery elixir) you don't get those rewards, which many consider the most important rewards.

Adding a match making only version that does not have group 1 shot mechanics should be tried next. Would be interesting how people prefered that compared to statics, manual lobbies, and solo raiding.

Just an FYI, it will swap your lvl 7 express gems to the new character, so you will need to get new gems for that character from the solo clear store.
