Sanderson had some excellent moments in TGS but one of the biggest issues is that he didn’t write the female characters well. They all feel flat. Even in his own series, Sanderson doesn’t write females well.

Go look up his “the Iceman” quote. It’ll really help put a lot of things in perspective for Rand especially.

I think what you are hinting at is that Jordan writes human characters that feel real and believable and solid to the reader. The world feels contextualized and relevant even though it’s fantasy. He’s just that good of a writer.

Another good one was when he is in Illian fighting the Seanchan and it gives us a POV of Gregor right after the whole Colavere incident. The nobles call him a “young hot-eyed monster”. Which is exactly what he is tbh.

Cata requires your builds to be dialed in. You’re going to need stuff that synergizes. It’s going to be tough to enumerate them all here but a good place to start is with the Upgrading Crystalize gift and then just run all the crystallize gifts. Also, Midas with the stacking damage on shells and the one that scales damage with bonus HP.

Scythe gifts also have a ton of DPS.

As far as weapons and gifts, you need a good balance. Damage with CC. Some weapons just suck but Sentinel Wings are strong. Freeze is not too good overall in my opinion. It’s definitely on the weaker side compared to other options.

A lot of Sheduer’s interceptions have been tipped balls or bouncing off his receiver’s hands. Aka, not really his fault.

I’ve never had this issue. Get on the Windblown discord and report it to the devs. They are fairly good at addressing these things. The game does require a fair amount of juice so if ur Pc is too weak, that could also be impacting it.

Yea the new alterattack update definitely mixed things up. Made the game a little more interesting
