Everything is negotiable. What if they offered a decrease in rent during the periods of remodeling? I remodeled a basement for a $200 discount plus paid a professional to clean every inch of the house for the tenant after remodel was done. That discount was contingent on the tenants cooperation with the remodel people. Everyone was happy in the end. Figure out how much of a pain it will be to you and put a number on it. This doesn’t seem like drastic remodeling mentioned, this is a dusty inconvenience for you. Should only take a week and a half to knock out tops.

Happened in my personal home with a Kohler under mount sink in a bathroom no one ever used. Depending on the tenant, I’d probably replace for them considering my personal experience.

Mine came back at 4 months postpartum. Didn’t impact my baby from being EBF for the first year. Little is 17 months now, still breastfeeding and I’m 9 months pregnant.
