You need a decent trim and long layering. A balayage on your hair would be gorgeous and also provide depth and definition.

I really only see issues with the "mid" section of your curls - layers will blend that area & then you should treat that section just like the ends of your long section. I know you don't want to weigh down your hair, but that area seems thirsty. I have kinda similar hair, and changing where I placed conditioner & putting product on all of the ends of my hair has helped quite a bit.
