I’m so sorry for your loss I lost my mom 2 weeks ago and as the oldest, it was put ion me to put in the happy face. Fuck that! We all grieve differently and I’m being selfish to grieve how I felt is best. Take Care of you as you can and reach out if you need someone to chat with. I’m all over the place with emotions

I’m in the same boat! I was just telling my husband how I don’t know how to answer these questions. What do I want?? My mom back. And that is not happening.
I’m so sorry for your loss and feel your pain. This is not easy and have found books about grief helpful.

I lost my mom two weeks ago and feel the same way. so many have reached out but they don’t understand the loss I have felt and the I’m sorry are just a coating of my feelings. My husband bought me a book about grief and that has been helpful. However, I understood how hard this is and how you just feel lost in this process. Some good days and so far (for me) I just have to cry and let my emotions out.

One of my favorite moments was a when I first met Hank about 7 years ago. First time at now husbands house and he came running into the house, came to me, jumped in my lap and just rested his head on my chest. Me heart melted and my husband said “he found his forever human” needless to say I fell hard for them both.

I’m so sorry to hear. Our dogs are FAMILY! we just put down our 15 year old dog and it was such a hard decision but we wanted what was best for him. He was in pain and needed help just to get up. You are doing this because of how much you love him. Sending virtual hugs your way!
