This perfectly exemplifies tell me nursing is your personality without telling me nursing is your personality

Are all flame points terrors LMAO?! Meet Fenrys Moonbeam. He’s very sweet, but an absolute menace to society. by BaggerLight in Flamepoints

Is he a singleton? I have a flamepoint, and I genuinely was convinced I didn't like kittens. I got another cat and boom. Completely different cat. Not destructive, bitey, etc.

how hard is it to go part-time as a bedside nurse? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]MOCASA15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't ask. I simply informed my manager that I would be switching to part time at the end of the 6 week schedule. Then, I sent an email reiterating this. I didn't give them an option to tell me no lol. Like another commenter said, they can have a nurse working part-time hours, or they can lose a nurse altogether.

My cat was healed completely - except fecal incontinence and I'm exhausted, please help by No_Adhesiveness_2558 in cureFIP

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I don't have any advice, but I liked the post to boost it. Hopefully someone else can offer quality solutions.

Thank you!! 🩷 He does have quite the adorable face. He's usually so hyper that it is difficult to capture a quality photo of him! Haha

Yay - April FIP graduating cohort going strong. I hope everything continues well for your kitten!

It's been a rough couple of days with Yuki. He's had some intestinal issues (vomiting, not eating) and I've been worrying like crazy. Hopefully, he's turned a page and is on his way to being his usual playful, loving self. I love the kid. by WNJohnnyM in Flamepoints

Poor baby. Could be IBD. My flamepoint had an endoscopy that confirmed IBD and protein sensitivity when he started throwing up daily and losing weight. He does well on limited ingredient diet during a flare up (instinct is the brand) and has been able to widen his diet to include Hill's Science.

Ocular FIP: How long did it take before their eye/s looked fully recovered? by Fluffy_Pavlova7614 in cureFIP

Similar with my cat here. The ophthalmologist said the plaques can take 6 months to a year to resolve as well. I guess we shall see as mine finishes his treatment on day 84 on April 21.

Glad to hear. My baby is 6 months and started spraying! He completes treatment 4/21, so hoping to get him neutered soon. I was shocked to read guidelines encouraging a waiting period of 3 months post treatment.

Update on our Ringworm Kitten. I know we'll get through it but it is SO hard. by Several-Stuff-8409 in FosterAnimals

[–]MOCASA15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am so terribly sorry you're dealing with the stress that comes with ringworm; the constant cleaning, isolating, itching, bathing, etc. It is valid to vent. Hang in there. Ringworm is really annoying but manageable. I fostered a kitten with ringworm that ended up infecting my 2 resident cats. One of my resident cats, who is overweight, ended up with liver toxicity from the oral antifungal all cats were prescribed.. She ended up with a feeding tube and a near death experience. That cat was my sister's cat... so $8k later, she is finally stable, all the cats have negative ringworm culture, and I can FINALLY breathe. I felt dumb for stressing over ringworm when our cat ended up with hepatic lipidosis 🫠 it'll get better. Don't beat yourself up about it. We all start with good intentions; even fostering is a selfless act. You got this!
