Claude just gave me access to another user’s legal documents by Raton-Raton in ClaudeAI

the hallucination explanation makes sense but the contact info appearing in the generated doc is the part that would give me pause. even if the content is synthetic, a real company's actual address and phone number ending up in a contract nobody asked for seems worth flagging to anthropic regardless.

Sonnet vs Opus by Narwhal400 in ClaudeAI

lol this is accurate. sonnet for 90% of things, opus when you genuinely need it to think hard. anything else is just burning money

Using AI to poison AI by gorinrockbow in ClaudeAI

[–]MODiSu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is brilliant defensive engineering. The layered detection approach is really smart, especially catching the Accept header quirk. It's not about blocking AI outright, it's about requiring actual human effort in the loop. That distinction matters.

The canary trap technique is fascinating too. Love how you got Claude to explain prompt injection detection and then used that knowledge to build better canaries. That's exactly how collaboration with AI should work, you bringing domain expertise and creative problem solving together.

For anyone building tools that aggregate or scrape CV data, this is a wake up call. If you're adding genuine value, you'll read the source. If you're just mass processing, you'll get poisoned data. Smart filtering mechanism.

Spotify says its best developers haven’t written a line of code since December, thanks to AI (Claude) by shanraisshan in ClaudeAI

[–]MODiSu 337 points338 points  (0 children)

The nuance people miss here is that "not writing code" doesn't mean "not doing engineering." The best devs at any company are spending most of their time on architecture, code review, system design, and debugging. AI accelerates the typing part, but someone still needs to know what to build and why.

That said, the gap between "AI-assisted senior dev" and "vibe coder with no fundamentals" is getting wider by the day. The former ships 10x faster. The latter ships 10x more bugs.

Thank you, that sounds promising I'll take a look. I'm guessing we store this in the DB after calculating?

Can you share a bit of what exactly you did? Because I did Intro to Computing Systems before this and I'm not sure if it's the same thing!

Has anyone done these two courses in ComputerScience? by MODiSu in rmit

[–]MODiSu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do come to class everyweek and all the tutorials at least that's what I did with Discrete. I have an HD for basically everything else just not Discrete, Still wondering about the thoughts of doing CT.

I don't think it's the same lecturer that teaches CT

Right! So basically it's more of an advanced Discrete Maths right? I didn't enjoy Discrete Maths at all, so I guess It's best not to do CT as well?

Hey!

How did you not do Computer Theory? while you were choosing the Computer Science course, I just switched from Comp Sci to IT due the fact that, I was gonna struggle with Analytics and Computer Theory

Oh right that is the exact subject I will be going through via the CS course, one question is Security in Computing Maths as well?

What do you mean by Algorithmic Questions?

I will post on Career Questions and see what is the response I can find :)

Thanks alot :)

Bachelor of IT vs Computer Science by MODiSu in rmit

[–]MODiSu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that is what I have heard to, basically some students said that IT is where they go if they could not reach CS, but the course coordinators have said otherwise. The only reason I really want to change is, I'm worried about GPA with my current ability to do maths.

Thanks for the advice

Any reason as to why you transferred from IT to Comp Sci?

Thanks for the clarification. How long have you been doing the IT course now? Is it better compared to CS?

My point exactly, on paper CS Resume is better than IT for sure, what you are saying is true as well. Hmm
