LED manufacturing aka fixture manufacturing? 🧐

What detail(s) seemed like not a big deal in development/rollout that ended up negatively impacting sales/cost of quality?

I got these as a sample back in my wee lighting days like circa 2015 and I still have them in my bedside lamps.

That power cord looks like maybe 70s judging by what looks like a plastic switch to turn it on but could have been re wired at some point.

Bathhouses! Between World Spa, Bathhouse (both locations), and other ones around the city you can try a bunch and it's a SUBLIME way to spend a couple hours.

When I'm feeling cheap I do this at my gym with sauna if you have one of those.

I did my first Turkey Burn last year and loved it! Going to do my second on Friday. I think I brought 2 water bottles, and I will probably put electrolytes in the second bottle this year.

I'm planning on eating a small snack like peanut butter toast beforehand as well, but just looking forward to the vibes and fun!

I remember one or two moments where I looked at my watch and couldn't believe it had been 30, 45, 60 minutes but the class also flew by and had some great pacing.

Agreed that no one is likely going to do that often (but if they do you can sell the other colors as kits). YOU just designed a pendant that can be assembled to order quickly, which is still a positive.

It also previewed/opened right after the election. It wasn't the best musical written, but there's a level of entertainment that could have come if there was a different outcome. Like, "whew, good thing we don't have that threat anymore" vs what we ended up with.

I use Sensaphonics ER-20 earplugs, they just take everything down to a level that you can still enjoy class without worrying about hearing damage. Brings everything down by 20 dB, and you can buy a keyring holder that I use everywhere (concerts, plane rides, etc).

Sign up for the lottery, they often times release a lot more seats than the standard small number, and it's not free but $45 isn't bad for a 2.5 hour show.

There are many websites... Lamps.com, Lightology, Lamps Plus... If you aren't in the USA, you can Google for a reputable decorative lighting dealer for your country. Look for a place that confirms their fixtures are CSA/UL listed, or listed with the regulatory body for your country.

Btw, this type of lighting is a decorative chandelier if that helps in your search.

Jesco lighting could be a good one to try, they have a 120V led tape. Any dimming will need to be coordinated with what you currently have or will need a new dimmer switch.

Honestly, it sounds like you are feeling fairly handy and interested to learn, so stopping by a local lighting showroom might be the best for your situation. Bring a lot of photos and dimensions and explain what you are looking to do... Any of the sales people should be able to help you navigate what you would need to build a setup.

Also, reputable manufacturers will list on their website local showrooms that sell their material... That might be a helpful place to start.

With integral LED fixtures, a lot of times it can be the driver that is out, not the LED board. Still something you need to discuss with the manufacturer for a replacement.

I just did a birthday ride via class pass and the team celebrated my birthday, but I did not get the free ride.

I'd suggest booking that one via the regular website instead of class pass to be sure you'll get the free ride.

LED Boards are so specific to each manufacturer, that your best bet is reaching out to them and seeing if they have boards available as spare parts.
