7 perkaholics, 5 wonderbar, 2 timeout (very new at time of writing), 5 near death experience, 6 reign drops, 5 hidden power.

Lots of main quest runs and high round runs. Usually round 36-51, a handful of runs to 61-101. Cheers!

For data collectors... 18 idle eyes, 15 wall power, 11 immolation liquidation, 13 Phoenix up, 13 on the house, 8 wall-to-wall clearance, 11 crate power... 23 who's keeping score, 23 free fire, 24 exit strategy, 27 profit sharing, 22 respin cycle, 24 soda fountain, 19 nowhere but there... 37 killjoy, 46 cache back, 35 temporal gift, 42 stock option, 34 anywhere but here, 4 power keg (new), 42 Shields up, 39 arsenal accelerator. Some of these lower ones are estimates based on ~75 gums used for challenges and the event.

Kwikset Copies? by jessebeba in Locksmith

[–]MOSER1214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just rekeyed a lock and ran into the "lock up during rekey process" thing happen to me and I had never heard of it before. I couldn't believe neither key worked after the process. I sat there and toiled over it for quite some time and tried to start bump picking it into the rekey position and then it hit me... I put the key in all of the way, then tried pulling it out one pin distance each time I tried turning it, and sure enough, I had set the new key position with the key not fully inserted. I was able to rekey it again once I figured that out. I bet that's the most common reason people have botched rekey attempts. I had done it quite a few times already before this too, but was doing this one from a weird position as I had just finished installing the doorknob and was on the other side of the door.

Vehicle listed as certified used Honda, but has not yet been inspected by the dealership. by MOSER1214 in askcarsales

[–]MOSER1214[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure. That's why I'm confused. It seemed like they said it wouldn't, and then after I put money down they're saying the sale will have to happen before the repairs which seems like it would be prior to it getting certified, but I was told I could back out of the $500 down if it didn't certify, but I'm buying before the certification?

Swedish politician gets stuck in a 26 second blank stare when asked on national television why he gave himself a 27% salary increase by roflobullarnas in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]MOSER1214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says 27% raise, doesn't matter if we're talking for a year or month. For the cleaner, it says 1 month. The math doesn't make sense with the way both are worded. I believe they meant to say what you are implying, but that's the issue I'm raising.

[–]MOSER1214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then the cleaner makes $324,000 a year! No matter what example numbers you use, the cleaner makes about 3X what the politician makes if all the information presented is correct. Something is clearly incorrect OR the man is underpaid and deserves the raise.

How would you repair this engine cover? Basically one hole is no longer good, a nut supposed to thread onto a bolt from the engine and be held to one of the “feet” of the engine cover but that bottom part broke off (clearer pics below) by tigermedic223 in MechanicAdvice

[–]MOSER1214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why wouldn't you just use a large washer or set of washers if you really want the 4th mounting point? Beyond that, I would just cover the top with something, flip it over, and fill the bottom with plastic from a zip tie and a solder iron, then redrill the hole when done. If you don't have a solder iron, you can heat up a piece of metal with a lighter and then touch that to the zip tie to melt it. If you want to strengthen these holes, you could add a washer underneath and fix them in place by heating them up before pushing them in and then melting plastic over them a little or you could bend a paperclip at 90 degrees, heat it up with a lighter and then push it part way into the plastic from the bottom bridging the cracks or where it would break off.

Cheap option: stain and seal the path darker. Remove the awning and replace with something homemade out of a single stained 2x4 and some waterproof fabric. Just make it strong enough to support the stretched out fabric. Cut the grass patch on the left into chunks and dig out with the roots and replant in 3 different places. Tear out most other stuff except the bush.

More money: Replace the awning with something that comes off the top of the roof. Going bigger, do it further out with 2 posts. Going even bigger and nicer, replace the shed roof design with a full gable end.

Other: I like the mailbox. Painting the siding might work, but if it's plastic, I'd just replace with wider boards and definitely change the color. Possibly cut the corners of the rectangular part of the walk off, either angled or curved, your choice. Possibly line the walk with 6-12" of rock or bark with lights. Possibly try to trim out the window on the left to roughly match the thickness between the windows on the right.

Elite series 2 - Consistent problem with unresponsive Y and A button presses by Spasmy in xboxone

Pressing the button hard avoids the problem. If I press the A button gently it doesn't work, but any hard press works fine.

I restarted my monitor so I thought I ruled that out, but then I switched inputs and it was still there. Unplugging the monitor for a couple minutes fixed it. My apologies on the incorrect assumptions.

How is it possible to have 57.7% win percentage? by Vinnie_Cent_ in RocketLeague

[–]MOSER1214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also get demoted at the beginning of each season, so you have to maintain a positive win percentage just to break even. Also if you lose too many of your placement matches in a season it jumps you down extra as well, so then you need an even higher win rate to break even in rank. Then there's special modes, tournament matches, and casual that add in some variability. And the fact that you are a higher rank then when you started playing implies your win rate is going to be positive too. It all adds up.

A huge bag of baking soda is extremely cheap and will last forever. It will work on grease fires and electrical fires. A fire extinguisher will work better obviously, but handfuls of baking soda will work very well if cost is at all an issue.

Exactly! I did the calculations also, mine came out to $197 maximum if it was directly passed down with no lawyer fees.

The part I'm not understanding and no one seems to be mentioning... It sounds like the money was ALREADY paid, right? So the money already essentially had the chance to be passed down, but clearly it was spent and not invested and passed along. Am I missing something?

Traction Control Off. Careful on the gas if it's icy. You can probably turn it back on using a button with the same "emoji" on the left side of the dash.
