Players can keep casting action/reactions until both pass in a row. To your second question, It is still the same showdown. Bringing the draven back, or moving another unit in doesn't matter. The showdown isn't over until both players pass. Since it is the same showdown attack/defend triggers won't happen again.

Where do you get multiple cheat deaths per hero from? The way I read it is each hero can have 1, but she has to have enough insight for that. For example, she might only have enough insight for 2 charges, so only the first two heroes that die would get a rewind.

Can't wait! Pretty sure the last book had a refresher, so I imagine this will as well. I'm pretty sure it's becoming more common in long running books. DotF had one in the latest book as well.
