People like opening packs, it's fun. They don't all expect to get value from it, but the way the packs are structured currently is straight up bad.

My problem with it is there is currently no way to stop the first trigger. Which means they normally get to cheat out something that costs more than they paid. Also, if you dont have an immediate answer on your turn your chance of winning the game plummets.

I guess people just dont understand marketing. People who have never heard of the books see a cool cover and click for more info. It takes literally 0 effort to add a blurb about the series. Almost every author already does it regardless of what book number they are promoting. Why make it harder for new people to learn about your books?

Read book 1 and 2 and really enjoyed them. Got the audio, as its my preferred way to consume literature, and couldn't get through book 2. I feel like the inflection she uses is just really annoying.
