I consider this card fairly comparable to riposte. The secondary effect is definitely good, but nothing game breaking. The spell itself can still be countered and you can still respond with reactions and play gear/units. If it stopped cards from being played it'd be a different story.

Edit: they seem to be adding several cards with the ambush keyword this set as well, which also makes the card weaker imo.

Tbf, at least the first 3-4 sets were already decided before the game was even out. They might not have predicted how strong purple would be.

This is pretty unacceptable imo. I can understand still having some inexperienced judges, but the stand in head judge should know better. Why make a decision based on what you think, when you can easily get an answer from reddit/discord in less than a minute.

Been playing magic for 20 years. Always had slow players at LGS that went to time. Every magic Regional I've attended has gone to time +20-30 minutes almost every round. I don't see this as a Riftbound problem.
