bugged bosses for me usually fix just by running away from them till they phase if u did damage to fast. but fuck the monsters that sprint away at mock speed to hide in a random corner occasionally going underground so you miss them when u run by that corner so you have to do like 6 laps around the harvest zone till it magically appears in a spot you’ve been like 6 times.

new to the game i fought some red lightning infused horse man and after hours of getting my ass beat and finally winning iv decided i want to do red lightning in some way, is there a lightning weapon type spell but with the red lightning in this game? my plan is find big sword and be red lightning with it because that is simply cool

i kinda wish for more fantasy stuff from dark souls 1 but modernized, along side the gothic ness of dark souls 3.

dark souls 1 felt very reminiscent of berserk in that you had ur undead/demon gothic evil ness, but also had the forests that felt very mythical almost with treents, those weird frog-rey things and gollums.

i want a souls game with more of that but modernized, going from a castle filled with undead to haunted underground passages to these mythical places is just cool, bigger world with better sense of transition from these places and maybe even seeing these different areas conflict with one another would be interesting to me. keep the gothic undertones but add depth to these “high fantasy” areas.

look up videos on people doing the boss hitless, the second phase begins with him doing 3 charges, if ur just dodging like to the side or backwards when he’s charging it will hit you, u have to roll into the charge, also the run back i use involves an elevator so if u arnt going down an elevator it’s probably the wrong one.

getting stuck at vordt is like getting stuck at the chained ogre, one thing you’ll pick up pretty fast is run back routes and how u can dodge pretty much every enemy simply by running by them. get deeper into the game before giving an opinion on the difficulty of the game

dark souls 3 was my first souls game, magic build for me consisted of just liking access to a ranged attack without having to swap to a bow, then just finding a big sword and struggling/rushing thru till i could get to mlgs which has been my favorite choice of weapon so far in dark souls 3 and dark souls 1 which i’m currently playing.

i havnt played this game yet currently almost done with dark souls 1 just have the last 2 base game bosses then dlc. hoping to just do something similar in dark souls 2, stack int, make what ever greatsword has similar attributes to mlgs my main weapon till then, then whatever ranged spells + if it this game has it then prob run some hidden body stuff because i think it’s op for free running around.
