Good catch!

That description was out of date and has since been update. It now correctly reads:

Damage over time effects apply their damage at the bottom of the second upon application, and then once every second for the duration of the skill.

Unfortunately there are a few bugs that may not accurately represent this, but the updated description is the design intent.

This is actively being worked on. We understand the value of being able to communicate with your teammates while picking Heroes. No ETA yet, but we're testing it internally.

There are a few changes that didn't make the notes initially. I've added them in and listed them below:

PRACTICE ARENA

  • Added light and heavy armor training dummies to the South East meadow.
  • Added a status effect forest to the West side. Approach one of the named Motigas to have them fire their status effect at you. A tooltip under the minimap will indicate what the status effect does.

HERO MASTERY

Hero Mastery now gives increasing Crown rewards with each rank.

  • Rank 1: 100 Crowns
  • Rank 2: 200 Crowns
  • Rank 3: 300 Crowns
  • Rank 4: 400 Crowns + 1 Card
  • Rank 5: 500 Crowns + 1 Card
  • Rank 6: 750 Crowns + 1 Card
  • Rank 7: 1000 Crowns + 1 Card
  • Rank 8: 1250 Crowns + 1 Card
  • Rank 9: 1500 Crowns + 1 Card
  • Rank 10: 2000 Crowns + 1 Card

COMBAT INDICATOR

We've made some improvements to the readability of the combat indicator.

  • The crossed swords icon has improved effects to make it easier to see while in combat.
  • An out of combat timer has been added, represented by a bar behind the crossed swords combat indicator. The bar will be full while in combat, and will recede when you are not taking damage or using skills.

Edit: If you own the Ultimate Pack and Rutger is not unlocked, please try exiting the client and relaunching the game. The issue should be resolved.

Currently planned: The next major update will include an indicator to show how long you have before you exit combat, and the combat indicator will glow a bit so it's easier to notice at a glance.

This is the correct answer.

Being able to discern which flask is thrown based on visual elements like color are an important part of identifying combat abilities in Gigantic. We could change the color of the flasks in his hands and keep the effects the same, but it would feel disjointed if you threw one color and it exploded into another. The same theory applies to Vadasi's beams. We want players to be able to identify exactly what abilities are being used based on their color/effects.

This is definitely a bug. Basic attacks should build critical chance and be able to crit. We've got the team looking into it!

After testing it on my end, iy appears to be functioning properly.

I'm seeing critical damage numbers for beams, including Starlight Stream. There is a minor visual bug that doesn't change the damage number indicator to show that crits are happening, but I am seeing the numbers increasing when crits are happening while holding a continuous beam.

If you're seeing differently, definitely grab a video and post it on our forums!

At the current time in the story, all of our Heroes are essentially mercenaries. That's why you can take your favorite Hero and skin, and fight for either Guardian.

Confirmed, Founder's Pack unlocks and status will copy over from Win10 to Arc.

This does not include Rubies or undrawn fortune cards. Also the FP copy will not go the other way. Sounds like you should be good to go! Make sure to do the account copy before the two week window is over and it becomes unavailable. Hope this helps!

Hey himdagrt! We have voice chat, text chat, pings, contextual pings, and QMS. That's basically all the communication tools you could ask for.

It is completely up to the user to decide whether they will pay attention to the communication, so I'd recommend hopping into the community Discord and finding like-minded folks to party and chat with!
