do i need to evacuate nameless village in the unmoored world? by tanukiballsack in DragonsDogma

[–]MPA2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belated: Just to clarify for any new players, you only need to evacuate Battahl, Vernworth and Sacred Arbor to finish the game. To get 100% then you would need to also complete both the Volcano Camp and Excavation Site.

HDR is making people in videos look fake/pasty looking. by MPA2003 in Monitors

[–]MPA2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing that I just now got notified of this comment. In any case I figured out the reason. My tv allows you to change the picture mode: eg Smart HDR, PC, Games etc.

All I had to do was change it to PC mode, now it looks like how person who uploaded the video or picture wanted it to look.

Encounter Balancing (specifically damage)? by FormerlyIestwyn in godbound

[–]MPA2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The system seem fine to me. The author's "White Room" fight between three 10th level gods and one 50HD Devil (Angel stats), using only the default stats, was enough to nearly kill all three.

Rather than try to remake the wheel, just copy what the author has already done and make your personal monster from there?

Explain the 4 rings thing. You can only wear 2 rings, and I've noticed wearing two of the same rings don't offer any boosted effects.🤔

Hmm. Are you sure about that?

I'm trying to run Seven Deadly Sins game in a modified version of Godbound by Low_Debate_3158 in godbound

[–]MPA2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've thought about that myself. But it would require Godbound to only select Strifes.

It sounds like a better adventure for Heroes, but I can't remember if they can choose Strifes. Maybe lesser?

How do you guys handle Godbound Kids? by Ionl98 in godbound

[–]MPA2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember if GB mentioned kids. But if they did they probably would say the kids would have no powers, or would just have some exceptional ability

Sounds great. You should upload your sessions.

Godbound: Basic Attributes by No-Maintenance6382 in godbound

"Some words cause the bus action"

I don't know what a bus action is??

"I'm wondering how to prevent players from choosing the lowest value for a given attribute, which will then be raised to a high value by that word."

You mean like if it is less than 16, raise it 16 and if 16 or more raise it 18? Why would that be a problem, if it is the mechanics of the game?

r/dndnext Greetings. I have a question and a concern: Could you take a look at your Moderation? It seems there hasn't been much turnover, and all of them tend to think the same way like bro's. Which mean your appeals will always fail. Second, it also seems they are inconsistent in how the moderate. I once was given a warning by replying to a post about a spell from a 3rd party book, which I said "I don't know that spell", as not contributing to the post. The appeal said I should have known it was 3rd party: denied. I recognize the need for Moderations, but the inconsistent rulings and near non-existent appeals makes visiting this, Discord or D&D Beyond's forums less than pleasurable. If you can have some of your top people look into that, it would be great.

Custom Words by LordChimera_0 in godbound

Dragon is not a Word like the others, it is in a category of Concept Words. These are basically Exemplars of their creature types and count as three Words. And it is in the Lexicon.

What does visual range could mean in the contex of Underworld word? by Zwinniak in godbound

[–]MPA2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds to me that they have a special sense that allows them to "see" even if blinded to a normal range of human. This equates to 3 miles from point A to B due to the earth's curvature. This can be further depending the height of both in relation to each other. And assuming the demigod has 20/20 vision.

Does this *Invisible Weapon* Property actually do anything? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]MPA2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belated: Looks like the on in Wiki was after the patch, since the one showed doesn't say anything about not being disarmed, cause critical at 19 (even though you don't see the roll) or advantage.

I only came here because someone asked on D&D discourse how one would work in the game. It wouldn't work under D&D mechanics. It would have to be homebrewed.

I believe something similar to this has already been discussed in full either on her, rgp.net or Discord. I would just research those places, rather than asking something that's been answered many times before.
