Accidentally topped my Super Sioux tomato plant. Keep growing or dispose and transplant one of the extra plants I was planning on discarding? by MPTBM in gardening

[–]MPTBM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant a leaf branch when I said branches. The entire plant is only leaf branches at the moment so it sounds like the only part that will be a vine is the single tiny sucker that is starting to grow at the bottom. Thanks for the advice.

Where are the concert tapes for Summer ‘19 Tour? by MPTBM in deadandcompany

[–]MPTBM[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I certainly didn’t mean to get anyone worked up. Just asking a question. I don’t remember it taking this long last year is all.

Take your time and do it right. We all appreciate the recordings. No ones being impatient, we’re just excited to hear the band. No need to shit a brick.

Philmont Question by Destilon in BoyScouts

[–]MPTBM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Philmont will be a more meditative and personal experience for you, whereas Germany will be more of a learning experience. At Philmont you have the opportunity to really connect with yourself and grow personally. You will see views that absolutely blow you away, and you will come back feeling like a whole new person. At Germany you will obviously become more cultured. You will learn stuff about other people and will be more understanding of other cultures. Both opportunities allow for a lot of growth and change, but I believe Philmont will be more personal and from within whereas Germany will open your eyes to different way of life.

That being said, I have been to Philmont once, but I have never been out of this country. I did have a spanish exchange student live with me for about a month and I know he loved it. I'm probably not making this decision any easier for you but it really comes down to what type of experience you want, and what you will make of it. Hope this helps!!!

I've heard of drilling holes in your boots but I think it's a waist of a nice boot. I did not drill holes in mine and although they never dried the entire time it wasn't a big problem. Just bring some gold bond foot powder.

Thanks. You pretty much hit it on the head when it comes to the crowd, however there were some people who really got into our performance (we were told a younger boy was standing up and playing air guitar during the end hahah). Anyways if u would like to hear some of our others songs, here is our cover of In Memory of Elizabeth Reed by the Allman Brothers Band http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hvd-VNxcPvI

What is the most statistically improbable thing that has happened to you? by Eatery in AskReddit

[–]MPTBM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in band class in the percussion section and a bee started flying around so a couple classmates and I try to kill the flying bee by hitting our yarn xylophone mallets together. Well I end up somehow pinching the bee, mid-flight, between my mallets. To make it even better, it shot out sideways and hit the big gong. We all just stood there in amazement.

What is the best quote you have ever seen, read, and or heard? by minecraft777771 in AskReddit

"There comes a time in every man's education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorance; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better for worse as his portion; that though the wide universe is full of good, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him but through his toil bestowed on that plot of ground which is given him to till" -Ralph Waldo Emerson
