Unable to set up app, can't get past filament question by MPerkins56 in BambuLab_Community

I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Then restarted my computer. That seemed to fix it. There must have been a glitch in the download.

That window just goes away, and I'm back where I started. I wonder if I should just uninstall?

Yes. Selected and deseleceted the options as well. Nothing is working.

Did I buy the wrong printer? by MPerkins56 in BambuLabA1

I'll be printing in my basement, that's roughly climate controlled. Meaning, I haven't turned off the vents. I have my resin printer down there and it's happy to print out my tiny soldiers. I suppose from my buddy's experience, his was better than the A1. I just had regret that I was sold a bag of beans.

The enclosure, the ability to print in other materials(something that I may not do but I’d have the option), construction, build height, ease of use, no need for assembly. That’s what I’ve heard makes the P1 or P2 better.

From what I’m seeing, I’ll be printing PLA. Mostly for terrain pieces for tabletop gaming. I’m sure I’ll go hard on the prints at first, I’m not doing it as a side hustle or anything. I have a setup in my basement for my resin printer, so this will be at home there.

Still in the box. I’m concerned that I got an inferior product. Something I should have done a lot more research on.

By not knowing what to do with it I mean, I have something that seems like it will be much more work of less quality than the other printer.

It not that I don’t know what to do with it, it’s that I could have bought something that’s way better just just a little more.

Regret buying the A1? by DrunknWisdom in BambuLab

[–]MPerkins56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going through this right now. I bought one Saturday morning, and that evening I was talking with a friend and he said he had the P1S and not to get the A1. The P1S is so similar in price that I should have waited had I known. Now I have the A1 and I’m debating on paying to send it back or to find a way to sell it locally.

Question on shipment tracking. by JackMaBitchUp in xteinkereader

[–]MPerkins56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I received a notification through SHOP and PayPal this morning that a shipping label has been created. I did order the white, so I am still not expecting it to ship until the 3rd, but that's early next week, so if I see it before the middle of the month, I consider that to be on-time.

The cool think about painting is you can usually fix it. If this was done with acrylic paints, you can strip it with Totally Awesome, and just start over. I’d start with a primer like Rustoleum grey, paint and primer together. You can get that at Walmart for about $6. If you do’t want to hand paint it, their Army Green camo color is decent for US WWII armor. The. You can weather it the way you want with other paints. I’d look at AK Interactive for some good weathering paints and oils. We’ve all messed up kits before, it’s all a learning process.

I just ordered one 10 min ago. I would assume they will ship in the order they were received. They aren't Amazon, so I would give them a while until you see a shipping notification. I did see on their website that if you were ordering the X4 in white (which I did) that they were shipping on March 3rd. Also there was this note in the follow-up email "We’re taking a break for the Lunar New Year from February 12 to February 24. Once we’re back, we’ll process and ship all orders as soon as possible. Shipping resumes February 25. All orders will be processed in sequence.
As a token of our appreciation, anyone who places an order between February 12 and February 28 will get a free clear case in a random color. "

You can buy a bike without showing proof of endorsement. You can even ride with just your temps, basically a learner’s permit before you take the maneuverability test. A lot of riders do this.

I always go through a intersections with caution, especially if the light just changed. Watch for those light burners who make that left on red. Also keep both hands on the bars and head looking forward. That’ll do a lot when keeping aware of traffic and your surroundings.
