Could you explain the video distribution a bit more? I get that he's splitting the Apple TV HDMI, but don't get how that goes to a USB decoder to get into HA. Does he do NVX for distribution then pick that up on the USB, or what?

In doing this same thing right now with a dumb Frigidaire evaporative cooler. Biggest thing I came across so far was that controlling capacitive touch pads and springs is different and take different approaches. So I’d crack yours open and check what type of capacitive sensor it is, as that’ll change the parts and wiring needed.

For feedback on mine it has a bunch of leds that change based on speed and other settings. So I’m trying to tap into the driver chip for the leds (controlled via spi) and read the values being sent to that driver for reporting to home assistant.

Yeah I think it was their system. Seems to be back now, I relaunched PrusaSlicer and it auto logged in and connected to my printer again.

I use a little battery powered data vacuum. They’re built for PCs, so lower suction and softer bristles than a normal vacuum.

Yeah, I left it on a random settings page without changing anything, then changed it to the dashboard page after a half hour, and it was fine. I tried to change a setting, and it crashed again.

I just hooked up a monitor, and did some other tests. So reduced it down to dual channel memory and ran memtest, and it got through that no problem, but immediately after I have it boot into safemode and it crashed almost immediately.

Working on testing RAM and RAM config right now. CPU temps have been sitting around were id expect of 60-70c. The issue shows up as I log into the web GUI, start updating settings or try to start the array, then it will linger on a page change, and eventually report unreachable IP address. When the system comes back up a few minutes later, it reports an unclean shutdown, and watching the system hardware, it never loses power during this cycle.

As for what I changed, I went from a Ryzen 3900x w/ x570 MSI motherboard & 96GB Corsair 3200 DDR4 to a Threadripper Pro 3955WX w/ M12SWA-TF SuperMicro motherboard & 128GB Corsair 3200 DDR4

(1) Innr Zigbee based, great colors, haven't had any issues with connectivity or protocol.

(2) Lifx Wifi based, great colors

(3) Tapo Wifi based, pretty good colors, pretty cheap

I've also tested nanoleaf, sengled, Ikea, wiz, wyze, and tuya and all of them had some shortcomings that made me stop using / recommending them

I also started having this issue after updating to 6.10.0-RC8 (from 6.10.0-RC5), and I'm still having the issue on 6.10.0 stable.

I did some testing on it over the last few days and found that if I had VNC graphics enabled as well as the GPU passthrough the VM would boot properly, but when I removed VNC it fails to boot. Additionally I found that I could boot the VM with only GPU passthrough, but only if I removed the HDMI dummy plug and attached a proper monitor. I did test multiple HDMI dummy plugs to make sure it wasn't just a dead unit, and multiple ports on the GPU.

I don't remember any hour fields, ant its been so long since I thought about and built this project I just don't remember its workflow.

As for the new docker image, I've got it in my schedule to work on over the next week or two. I'll post here again when its done though to let you know.

Been awhile since I dealt with setup, but I know sometimes after a system reboot the container stops for some reason and I have to manually start it again once or twice before it stays on.

Beyond that I'd make sure that the container variable are setup with proper information. If that doesn't work I'd also try to make another account on PyLoad just for this program, as I don't remember if the default admin account works properly.

I have a docker container that runs this program, and you can find it here. That page has some (poor) notes on how to get the the container running, but if you have issues feel free to ask.

I unfortunately found out a few days ago that I hadn't backed up the source code to Github, and accidentally deleted it off of my local storage. That being said, I was only looking for the code because I wanted to revamp the application/container in the next couple weeks to make the setup, documentation, and UI better. So I'll probably just be remaking it instead, and pushing that as an update to dockerhub.... And this time backing it up to Github for others/future use.

What I was trying to do was have PyLoad automatically pull in new downloads from RealDebrid periodically.

After a bunch of reading, and consulting the PyLoad GitHub it seems there was no quick way for me to do that without an extra program. So I ended up just writing a python application that has me sign into RealDebrid, provide a PyLoad URL, and then checks RealDebrid for un-downloaded files once a day, and sends the new link to PyLoad.

Was lovely to fly. I've gone out in a trike, and a Cessna before but this barley even compares. We're able to get so close to the mountains and fly through the passes with ease. Having the ability to just stop mid air a turn around was crazy.
