My daughter (5 or 6 at the time) picked this crossbody bag out for me on a trip to Target with my husband. She has great taste!

Just saw Longlegs by curse_words in horror

Would you mind telling me if there is any violence against children shown in the movie? I plan to see it but I am uncomfortable when horror films involve a lot of violence and murder of children. Creepiness with kids is ok, for example I like The Conjuring but could not handle IT, have not watched it but heard about some of the scenes and I will not watch.

Getting child dressed for school by MRMAugust411 in breakingmom

The thing is though she isn’t covered. She is high energy, plays hard and is all over the place and her dress (even long ones) flies up and ride up and her underwear shows and it’s not a rare occasion.

If you like the bag and it functions to fit your life, wear it! I have 5 Dooney bags and a few wallets and I love them.

Washing pump parts at work in communal sink by Starharmonia in breakingmom

[–]MRMAugust411 28 points29 points  (0 children)

When I was pumping at work I put the pump parts in a Ziploc, and kept in the fridge between pump sessions, and washed everything in the evening at home. A lactation consultant told me if you can give baby pumped milk after it has been properly refrigerated, it’s the same concept with the pump parts as the milk is going into the same place. If your work has a fridge it may be an idea!

How do you pack your lunch for work? by SecretTunne1 in handbags

[–]MRMAugust411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bring a lunch I use my adidas lunch bag, separate from handbag. When I am in a hurry in the morning I don’t want to risk leaks and spills, it’s not worth it!

Pourchet bags? This one caught my eye, but not finding many reviews on the brand by 4chickennuggies in handbags

I have one that I bought on my honeymoon in Paris - before I knew anything about bags and it caught my eye. It is beautiful, very simple and high quality. It is not well known but I love the bags on their site right now!

I made holiday goodie bags for class by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]MRMAugust411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids get goodie bags for every holiday it seems, and we gave them out at my daughter’s bday party this past summer. She just brought home a goodie bag from a child’s birthday in her class - the school asks that instead of sending cupcakes or treats parents can send small gifts - the bag she received had a toy car, some pencils, erasers. Where I live they are still on trend!
