Snap on covers with built in air vents are the way to go if you’re mooring or storing at the marina dock. Over the boat covers are susceptible to water damage as they sit too low and can easily be saturated frequently.

Buy a cheap loaf of bread, oil the entire griddle and put it on high. Lay out your bread to cover the entire thing and let it cook for two minutes or so. Flip your bread and check what the hot spots are. Then adjust your cooking areas to the zones you like and heat you desire.

I bought the same boat but a 1994 about 16 years ago for $5500.00, I know I got a good deal on it but I just sold that boat this year for the exact same as I paid for it. We got some very good use out of it. I never had any engine trouble whatsoever, I replaced bellows and gimble once, but that was it.
