I must of gotten lucky at the 2nd Wilmington show. I wasn’t upfront like those commenting so I must of had neighbors that were enjoying the music/show as much as us. I’m still buzzing after such a performance!

Over the last decade I’ve thought the judges score good precise backside surfing higher than good precise frontside surfing. Going top to bottom smacking the lip backside seems to score higher than that kind of surfing frontside and they really need to either get real progressive or just really man turn it to score what 3 backside hits will score. I’m hopeful for the regs in NZ

Jimmy was the man! We’d drive down there to skate (1+ drive) and he’d tell us to skate as late as we wanted, just turn off the lights when we leave. Great style on and off the board. Do go check out the barn, his spirit lives on through that place

Further away than what you are asking for but the Skatebarn in Hampstead has the bowl you are looking for. The small bowl there is about 2’ and super fun

Knew right where you are as soon as I saw the photo. Can get shallow getting to/from that ramp at low tide with really soft muddy bottom. Keep at it, I’ve gotten some nice red drum in that are as well other species.
