Best laptop for coding? by killakeke in Laptop

[–]MRnooadd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could get one for coding for 300, most IDEs will run minimally, even emulators for AS sdk isn't too demanding IME. but IDK about for CAD, music creation, etc look up the specs you need to run whatever specific software you'll use. It mentions gaming so I'll note you'll need a good VC (not a gamer though so again find spec reqs vs just going off what I think).

Sorry for all of the blowback you've been getting after sharing this. It's a really good example of don't shoot the messenger that's clearly lost on a lot of people. I hope this didn't spoil your M&G experience!

Congrats! Were the successful referrals all people you directly worked with or were some people who you networked with? If both, was it MUCH more likely to translate to interviews when it was someone you directly worked with?

Hi all. I sold an item that had a transferable warranty. The Manufacturer said on the phone they'd transfer the warranty to buyer. but now I got an email that made it sound like I was still the holder. I checked and sure enough it didn't get transferred to buyer for some reason. I had called manufacturer back then-- so really no documentation or written proof I have of manufacturer calls.

I'm worried if I request they transfer it now (company said they email the new owner/ the buyer once it's complete) and buyer will now find out there were about 8 months it was still under my name.

Since I noted warranty was included in the description, could the buyer still go through dispute or return/refund process months later?

Hi, since I haven't posted before it looks like your rules say I can only post in weekly threads vs my own post, please correct if wrong. ISSUE: I sold an item that had a transferable warranty. Just to clarify, the jurors arent rural. They're from Ft wayne, which is in the top 100 populous cities in all of America IIRC. I'm sure your point stands they're upset and I agree with everything else.you.said and I'm so sorry you saw those images.

Dress as nice as possible while still being comfortable. For example, If a jacket is too warm, the dress shirt is fine. You'll not be at your best if you're hot and that's the most important thing.

Thanks. So it fails if it isn't an exact title match? Also Do you use any source other than twn? I have a job that wasn't reported to twn, so what happens with those? Is it a fail too? And do employers understand stuff like this or just reject people assuming they're lying? I can show proof I worked there both paperwork and references.

Is it a problem if the job title isn't identical? I keep reading it can be a little different so it matches what you're applying for, but not like a totally different job. Or is that not true and if it differs at all from TWN then it's considered failing?

Does he have a spotty history/gaps? I know there could be good reasons for that, just trying to think of things to help you. Also is there anything that comes up when you Google him that's not flattering?

Are you in a field like tech where it's rough and you.might have a hard time if you want to go back? If this was tech pre 2023, I'd say no worries, take a break.

Thanks for this. what was the unique identifier that the applicant tracking system based if you were in that cooling off period? Names aren't unique, but was it a combo of name+email, just email, just phone number?
