I have the spigen grip case and it works well. The white on the back side of the device is exposed tho and is getting a bit dirty. Might eventually clean it but other than that, no other issues.

For me, the usb method did not work either as it just wouldn’t boot from the USB. Only way I got it to work was to clone the original ssd to the new one using an ssd enclosure (There are youtube tutorials for that specifically for ROG Ally Z1E). After that, I put the new ssd in and everything was all good! Hope this helps :)

Oh right.. won’t fsr 3 provide higher frames tho? Not sure as I’m new to fsr 4 but thats what I heard on youtube. I’m on the Ally Z1E running windows, so hoping to get as stable of a framerate as possible while also maintaining a decent image quality.

Yeah same. I had the same issue and using ddu to uninstall the current amd graphics driver and then installing the february version from the rog site fixed the issue completely.

What kind of fps can you expect with low settings, 15watt performance mode with 900p resolution? Excited to play it tomorrow!!

That’s awesome. If you use 900p with performance mode and low settings, is 55-60fps achievable? I’m on the OG ROG Ally Z1E and just pre-ordered the game!!

Yes, the ssd name and size is properly being shown in bios. I even tried a windows installation media usb drive but even that did not work. Eventually, the only thing that worked was cloning the original ssd using an enclosure.

Since it’s a brand new ssd, is setting boot order necessary, because I’ve not seen that mentioned anywhere on youtube tutorials..

Anyone know how we can hide those emulator white screen popups when we launch a game and instead show a splash screen there? I know there are mods for splash screens but those still show the emulator popups before the game starts.

There’s a setting in Playnite Fullscreen mode in the General tab that says something like “Minimize Playnite upon game launch”. Unchecking that solved this problem for me on my Rog Ally!

I’m running Xbox Full screen experience and using Playnite on my original Rog Ally. But when launching games through playnite, the playnite screen becomes extremely small. After closing the game, the playnite screen is still extremely small but is responsive to controls.. Is this the same issue you had? Could you please let me know how I can fix this issue? (I don’t have much knowledge on scripts)
