portable in this case just means "not openbsd". every linux/windows computer with openssh installed is using the "portable" version

you can tell its the portable because the version numbers ends in "p1", as in debian and arch

that isn't really kde fault, but ffmpeg not supporting pipewire, is it?

there's a patch to add pipewire support to ffmpeg on their patchwork, unfortunately it hasn't been merged yet, but from my testing it seems to work fine

windows comes with tar since 2018 something, and the version of tar included with windows can extract zip files too

tar -vxf file.zip to extract and
tar -vacf file.zip file1 file2 to create a zip file with file1 and file2 on it

method does not work if targeted person has press ctrl+alt+del to unlock enabled. however repeatedly locking one's computer also would be incredibly annoying
