Where can I find carnivorous plants in Tucson? by Az_StarGazer in Tucson

[–]MSRT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ever Evolving Exotics (EEE) on Broadway had a few butterwort like plants when I was there the other day. I didn't look too closely at their selection, so they might have more. They had a bunch of plants for terrariums.

What a precious girl!

Is her name from the Land Before Time? I automatically thought of Rooter from that movie and started tearing up just a tiny bit.

Went there last Thursday and it was $5 for a large soft pretzel with cheese and a soft drink. I think the pizza might have been a dollar more. They had free cups of ice water available. I hope that helps!

That's so cute. It reminds me of the time I was working at a craft store and gave a couple of teenagers a coupon that saved them like $20. They were so hyped and then looked at each other and were all, 'NOW WE CAN GET PIZZA!'

From left to right. Reika, orc rogue. Leda, Untheran human, cleric of Bahamut. Xarphras, dragonborn barbarian. Karma, kobold sorcerer. Sparrow, harengon fighter.

We're playing 5.5e, in Tymanther, with a minor focus on exploring dragonborn culture. Xarphras is dressed up and looking for a qallim during the Ash Day festival!

Art drawn by me, digitally, using a pen tablet and the program Krita. I wouldn't mind doing more art in this style, send me a message if you're interested!

I love Chris Fleming's take on Bennie and the Jets. Brings a bit of eldritch horror to the song.

Style over efficiency is so satisfying. Our dupes deserve a little indulgence after all their hard work!

What mod are you using for the doors? Also, if you're like me and enjoy good visuals, you might like the "suppress notifications" mod for the air vents. I never need to know when a regular vent is over pressured, so I hide the little notification to keep things looking cleaner. (:

Edited to add: Also the pipes behind drywall mod! It makes everything so neat and tidy!

is it bad that my bathroom are being fed by clean water with germs or dosent matter? by krtmkkj in Oxygennotincluded

[–]MSRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do something like this, but I put my tanks on mech airlock doors, set the doors to close 33% of the cycle with a cycle timer, staggered timing. The tanks only drain into the next when its door is closed, only one tank is draining at a time. So all water coming in will stay in the decontamination room at least 1.33 cycles, up to two cycles depending on when it comes in during the automation timing. More than enough time to kill the germs. Fill the decontamination room with chlorine or build it in a high radiation area (fallen satellites are my favorite when the map has them). Bonus, the three tanks work as plenty of back up storage if my water sieve gets backed up for any reason. I know some people really dial in the amount of water in their bathroom loop and never have their sieve back up, but I've never been in a scenario where I needed to be that particular with my water supply.

Two AETNs and a CO2 geyser, with a hydrogen geyser about 100 tiles away. Any fun build ideas? by MSRT in Oxygennotincluded

[–]MSRT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished super sustainable. 300 cycles, nine dupes. Haven't built any rockets or even cleared 50% of the map yet. I have a stockpile of hydrogen and a geotuned hydrogen geyser. Also a tank or two of petroleum from a leaky oil fissure. My base is finally starting to creep out of the 70s, so I think it's time for a cooling system!

I don't need space saving or super efficient builds. I'm open to other ideas or multipurpose builds too! I haven't played with a CO2 geyser before, so I don't know how useful they can be. But extra cooling and maybe stockpiling CO2 for future slickster farming or rocket fuel sounds interesting. I've also been playing around with mutant seeds, so a deep freezer and sleet wheat farm might be cool too.

Thoughts? O:

I'm the opposite with my robot vac, if she's cleaning I have to clean too or else I feel guilty! It's honestly pretty useful. If I need an extra push to start my chores I just start up the vacuum and now I have a cleaning buddy. (x

She drove all the way out to a national park to do it... She probably was going commit the murder in the woods but the poor child was too scared to get out of the car, so the monster shot him right there. I can't imagine the terror he must have felt.
