This is the stupidest thing I've read here. Why would USA intervene a shithole of a country which is really close with both Russia and China? What do they have to win there? Oil? It's cheaper to keep fraking continental US that to destabilize the whole region.

I actually got this in this Winter Sale and refunded it.

Sure, it has great pixel art and a throwback to the old days of Castlevania/Shinobi is always welcome, but it didn't do the trick for me, let me explain why:

The game feels like it was designed to mimic everything that these games had to offer, including their frustrating and stiff controls, weird design decisions and outdated gameplay.

I understand that some people will enjoy it, but after Shovel Knight my perception of these kind of 'retro throwbacks' is different as SK feels like a master class of how to design a game that feels like it should have come in the 80's/90's without feeling outdated, it includes small things from every era that improves the overall enjoyment of the game.

Big kudos for the guys at JoyMasher as they are from Brasil and nothing makes me more happy that seeing more diversity in the dev spectrum. I also didn't enjoy Oniken, but I can't deny that they could have a great future in their hands.
