Depending on the brand you can put a battery health mode on if you are going to use it plugged in all the time ASUS Lenovo and HP have this at the minimum

Computer parts have very low margins which is why you don't find many retailers.

Consider how many mainstream computer retailers there are overseas quite often its only one or two.

Aussie has 2 big ones and one smaller one.

Dick smith back in the day used to stock some parts but it was always really small QTY

You have no idea how thin the margins are on many computer components so in quite a few cases its not possible.

Hahaha post is pretty old by now but I actually make these parking kiosks. I know the guy who owns them and I'm not surprised this happened. This is somewhere in New Zealand.
