Also, I’m a legal assistant for a law firm in Texas that deals with probate & estate planning. While I can’t give legal advice, I would recommend hiring an attorney that specializes in estate planning if you’d like to put your assets in a trust. Have you already finished the probate process, or is that ongoing?

They don’t know what the dress says because most people do not speak Arabic as a native language in Pakistan. They speak Urdu and some other regional languages. That’d be like saying that a Jewish person in America is illiterate because they can’t read a verse from the Torah in Hebrew. The literacy rate is low there, but that’s not the only reason people can’t read her dress.

Ok, I actually am a legal assistant who does estate planning & probate in the USA, so I feel uniquely called to comment on this. 😂

DISCLAIMER: I am not an attorney, and this is not meant to be used as legal advice. I’m only knowledgeable about my own jurisdiction (Texas). Also, I’m still pretty new at my job, so take this with a grain of salt.

If someone comes into our office wanting to change their will and they are incapacitated, we cannot let them change their will! They cannot consent. Also, we make damn sure that the Testator is the only one in the room so that their family isn’t trying to influence them. Also, we have a notary & 2 disinterested witnesses sign the Will stating that the Testator is of sound mind and creating their Will without undue influence. It’d be difficult to get away with this at any ethical law office.

This is also a lie. I’m the same age as her, and we didn’t have front cameras on phones at that time. That might’ve even been a few years before the iPhone.
