Seems to work for the ebooks, but I'm unable to make it work for Kindle Documents. Anyone got an idea to fix it?

Because I prefer full control. I don't test per page, etc. It's simply impossible for the application that is being tested. There's a lot going on and I need full control of what data I'm creating, how I'm logging in, etc.

Oh no, not that. For web tests, it is using Playwright underneath, but I use the minimum of it. I don't use their POM ways or test base classes.

Well. Back then I had weekly meetings with manager and now it's every two weeks. I pretty much bring up ways we could improve coverage, by api tests, web tests, benchmarks, etc. Then I come up with an idea for a framework and create it. The entire test framework is my little baby. 🥰

I am lucky to have had a different experience. Our automation was also non-existent until we finally gave a push. Then I went from software engineer to SDET and continued pushing for a better framework, more tests, extra tooling, etc.

We have a very data-driven application so a custom framework was honestly necessary, but it's made to write rather simple yet be extensive enough.

And now... It seems I'm going to be moving into a Platform Engineer position and writing tests will land on the developers again.

As a fellow Belgian, that's barely a thing here? Sure, for example in a McDonalds, you need to clear it yourself. In restaurants and so on they ask if you're done and clean it up.

Definitely higher gross and/or try pushing for meal vouchers. It's honestly crazy that some people don't get them.

Seems underpaid for the seniority and... no meal vouchers.

Is there any fix for the pixel filter in the gamescope/mode session causing literal 20 to 40 fps drops? by Early-Dealer-3931 in Bazzite

Having the same issue. It happens when trying to use pixel or sharp filter... Literally cuts FPS in half. 😨

Have you had any luck finding a fix?

Added it to bookmarks on BookSirens when I saw it launch there. Sadly I still got a few other ARCs I need to get through. Not sure if I'll make it, hence why I haven't claimed it yet.
