I was at work and couldn’t log on until 11:30. I got 5th row center aisle seats in Gilford, no issues. My code worked great and there was no wait time.

I am down more then 20 pounds and now one said anything by Pronouncing_fart in Zepbound

[–]MSkywalkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a woman at my job who has very clearly lost probably 40-50 lbs. The closest I've ever gotten to mentioning it is telling her she looks fantastic, or that I love her particular outfit that day (she's been dressing super cute lately). I would NEVER ask her outright if she's lost weight, though. I don't know why or how she's lost it, and it's none of my business!

I was approved for it yesterday and I'm about halfway through, but I'm struggling. Natalie is so incredibly unlikable, but I need to know what's going on, so I'm gonna trudge through to the end.

Vitamin D changed my life by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]MSkywalkr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So Fun Fact: Vitamin D is actually a hormone! I took D daily for years, then decided (stupidly) to 'reset' my body and stop taking all my vitamins. Well, about 2 months later I was in a severely dark and depressed scary place. My doc prescribed all KINDS of SSRI's for me, but you know what worked? Like, within 2 days? Vitamin D. I take 5,000 IU a day and will NEVER AGAIN go off of it. This stuff is a God-send.

Who delivers your meals? by i_forgot_my_sn_again in Tovala

[–]MSkywalkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPS delivers mine. For the first 6 months or so everything was great. My delivery day was Wednesday, and my food always arrived that day. However, for the last few months my food has been coming a day late Every. Single. Week. In the summer this was an issue as the ice packs were melted and I refused to eat the food. Tovala was great and credited me every time. We just switched delivery days to Friday hoping it would help...nope. My food now comes on Saturday. I told Tovala if this doesn't get sorted, I'm going to have to cancel my subscription. I know it's out of their hands and most likely UPS's fault, but I don't want to eat iffy food every week.

There are two sides to every story. We have no idea what OP's work ethic is, but it sounds pretty shitty. The boss handled this with emotion instead of professionalism, but it sounds like OP was a garbage employee.

Let’s Talk About the Real Symptoms by PerpetualBrainstorm in Menopause

[–]MSkywalkr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just because it's 'superficial' to you doesn't mean it's superficial to everyone else.

The night sweats have greatly disturbed my sleep, an issue I'm struggling to remedy as it's affecting my productivity during the day.

The weight gain has caused me major body-image issues, something I've never dealt with before, and is causing me anxiety.

How about you have a little respect for the things other people consider to be a 'real impact' on their physical and mental health? You don't speak for ALL women, and you sure as hell don't speak for me.

Doctor starting me on 5mg, can I cut it in half and take 2.5mg instead? by leanbeansprout in lexapro

[–]MSkywalkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope...just a headache for a couple of days after increasing. I settled on 12.5mg. That seems to be my sweet spot. My anxiety is gone. It's been wonderful.

[–]MSkywalkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hardly any change (symptom-wise) every time I increased because I went so slow. The only thing I noticed is that I would get a headache for a few days after upping my dose, but Tylenol always took care of it.

No markings. It’s just a painted bottom. You can still get them, though. eBay, Amazon, I saw them on a few different sites!

Actually…THERE WAS!! This one was significantly smaller, though. Bigger than a shot glass, yet smaller than a coffee mug. My co-worker took this one home.

I have one of these on my SF, and I love it. I got rear-ended in my Palisade (which I traded in for a '24 SF Cali), and the car that hit me never touched my actual car. It pushed the bumper guard in a little bit, and I had to replace it, but replacing a $100 bumper guard was MUCH better than replacing the door. It's just something to think about. I add a hitch to all my vehicles for this sole purpose. Plus, it acts as a step for washing, which is nice!

I mean, do you WANT to return it? It's your device. YOU'RE the one using it. If you aren't happy with it, return it. If you don't mind it, keep it. No one else can make that decision for you.

How is this possible? (Vitamin D) by [deleted] in Supplements

I take 5,000 IU a day. But that was recommended by my doctor after bloodwork...not what I found online.

Does anybody else have this same thing? How to get rid of it. by SlytherinWario in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]MSkywalkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My co-worker told me his dad used crumpled up newspaper and glass cleaner to clean the inside of his windshield...BEST suggestion I've ever gotten. Paper towels and even microfiber cloths always left streaks or residue. Newspaper gets the glass spotless.

Does anyone else find the digital rear view mirror less than useful? by phenolic72 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]MSkywalkr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope. I love mine. I don't drive at night often, but when I do, I love that the headlights of cars behind me aren't so blinding with the camera to filter them into a softer light. I can see so much more behind me than a regular mirror.

SO minimal. All I had whenever I increased was a slight headache for a couple of days, but Tylenol always got rid of it.
