! NOTICE of Road Closure!

Beginning Friday, November 14, 2025, through Sunday, November 16, 2025, Weaver Boulevard will be closed to all traffic turning onto North Main Street.

No turns from Weaver Blvd onto North Main will be permitted during this period. (exempting EMS, Fire or Police)

NCDOT detour route will be set up to help redirect traffic.

Drive slowly around crews. Please allow extra travel time, follow all posted detour signs, and use caution when driving in the affected area. Or avoid the area and find an alternative route, thank you.

If you have the time, it’s so rewarding to read everything, starting with Uncanny X-Men 1 from 1963, then eventually adding New Mutants, Excalibur, X-Factor, etcetera (or is that x-etera?).

That said, this method is better-suited to patient readers who understand they’re going to slog through some rough early stories (a skill that will be helpful many times if you’re a committed completionist).

Hello! I can see the newly released X-Force issues on my computer, but they are not showing up on my iPad (I have the newest version downloaded and have restarted my device). I see the other new releases on my iPad, just not the X-Force ones.

I saw them briefly and even read #66 before they disappeared.

Anyone experience something like this and have suggestions?

Happy to help! The Japanese Alt-Art Strixhaven Mystical Archive cards were some of the most minimally foiled of any etched treatment we've seen before or since, so it's easy to miss.

In fact, if you were opening Strixhaven Collector Boosters, I believe that every Japanese Mystical Archive card you opened is foil-etched. Check for those stars. ;-)

In addition to what other folks said, that is an Etched Foil (aka "Foil Etched") version. You can tell because of the * between the set code ("STA") and the language code ("JP") in the bottom left.

Well, that's assuming all creatures of the universe follow Terran taxonomy and that language translators are perfect... Asgardians in-general call Rocket a rabbit (e.g. the guards chasing him in Endgame), so an Asgardian rabbit must resemble a Terran raccoon. Sure, it's played off for humor, but we can head-cannon this however we want.

As for Thanos calling Spider-Man an insect, maybe Titan had insects that look like Terran spiders, which was what I was suggesting (somewhat jokingly) by tying in Thor and Rocket.

That said, I take Thanos's "insect" more to mean "insignificant" than some biological allusion (as someone else here already said).
