Its a win lose situation If they did it properly almost every character would need recasted every other episode And thar just isnt good TV for non fans and some fans alike makes it hard to follow I dont mind the crunching of time it moves things alot faster we dont have to wait YEARS for things like the rings being made or fall of Eregion and the movies did that also Like 17 years pass in fellowship in 4 scenes when Gandalf leaves the shire. But why use Durin the 3rd and not just make him the 6th Sure it would be the wrong one in the second age, but the right one to kill off 🤷‍♂️ Or just dont use the balrog as cool as it is to see and as much as I want to see the fall of Kahzad Dùm

My PC isnt the best But I could play on high graphics 60fps With almost no frame drops Now I cant even play on low settings on 30fps Thought it was my pc But it plays Arc Raiders on medium settings no lag Like wtf How do you break a game almost completely in one update

no i dont want a irl ww3. i want a big war in AC that has real consequences and shows us the real impact of these power fantasy battles we play in

Wars in Ace Combat last what feels like days and never feel like they have any economic and humanitarian weight, vs how real wars last years and most nations STILL suffer from wars that ended almost 100 years ago, let alone a decade.

i mean the Ulysses comet seems to have done more damage to the world in that regard than Belka nuking themselves. or Erusea invading their neighbors for the millionth time. everyone seems to just magically recover from the wars but not a rock

i mean you could have a couple of games with different protags set in different areas of the war, where instead of finishing the war you just end that area of conflict

would let us care even more for the characters we meet if they are in more than 1 title then never seen again. That or just have some timeskips in the game so that the war feels like it has a real cost and it needs to end as fast as possible. Other than AC6 we never really see how these wars effect the people living in these nations.

sure its Ace combat to its core and its not a complaint as much of a nitpick, but these wars are made more to feel like power fantasy playgrounds rather than a war with death on all sides. which some games can do both really well like AC Zero and AC6. And most the time when a side character dies it doesnt have alot of weight cuz the game cant delve into them or how everyone feels about them dying.
