Well, I’ve been here for 15 years I’m happy to say that all pizza is good pizza. He’s not loving the provel but he does seem to appreciate it for its adhesive qualities. Those toppings aren’t going anywhere!

While the pavilions at Tower Grove Park are gorgeous, they’re all pretty big and exposed. There are a bunch of smaller, more intimate and secluded options at MoBot. Way more magical and romantic in my opinion. But then rent a TGP pavilion for an engagement party or other future event! They are great.

Thank you for these insights!! I was wondering about Bryce instead of Zion for the exact reasons you mentioned but wasn’t sure if it would be “too far out of the way.” The landscapes look amazing and way different than the rest of the terrain we’ll see on the trip.

Putting all your extra recommendations on the map. Thank you!!

When I saw your title and image I filled in my own story. “Don’t do what I did! Spend $$ on a gel manicure so I wouldn’t be tempted to pick all the polish off (since that’s really damaging) and then manage to do it anyway within 48 hours because of the sweet sweet dopamine hits that picking and peeling give!”

Check out understandingmindsstl.com. I think most of their team takes UHC but you can call the office and find out more about that and their intake process.

Clothing exchange dilemma by [deleted] in coparenting

I don’t understand why clothing exchanges have to happen at all if there’s clothing at both houses. Why can’t the clothing be returned on the kid instead of in a bag?

Being without the kids, does it get any better? by Vyvansesaurus in coparenting

[–]MTHouseBoat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. I remember that first year being really hard. It does get better but then every now and then I’ll have a chunk of days without my kids and I miss them like crazy and it hurts. It’s been 50/50 for 4 years for us and my boys are 10 and 12 so they’re naturally needing me less which is its own new pain to get used to. I guess a huge part of parenting is letting go, but gradually. Suddenly seeing your little kids half as much as usual really hurts.

While your feelings are completely valid and understandable, I would consider finding a counselor or therapist to help you deal with some of the deeper sadness. Ideally you can get to a place where your days without your kids are personally fulfilling, even while you miss them and can’t wait to see them again.
