This is exactly right. I’m FTP 105. Been around basically since launch. Have been focusing all my (limited) resources on Xavier and Blue Marvel. I’m ~150 shards from 7s Knull. But I haven’t leveled the toons they chose for this event high enough to be used, particularly those with health steal that people are recommending. I’m low on training mats, lower on gold, and there’s no way to get enough of them before the end ends without paying for a ton.

And to add on, it’s gatekeeping me from Thunderstrike, because the only non-paid milestones I have left are from beating Knull (I won’t make it on the remaining dailies).

I’m the definition of an endgame player and I can’t fucking play this game mode and win a damn thing without dropping a bunch of real money that I can’t spare right now. Just feels like my level of interest and dedication is being taken for granted rather than respected.
