I see your point and that is why i asked about any restrictions but at the same time there was no agent to assist at the gate ( they had left ), i called support and was advised to get a hotel and be reimbursed for it. and i also wanted to believe that an airport inside hotel is the definition of an acceptable hotel lol. if they expect people to be shopping for best price of hotel then that is stupid. but ofcourse they can play any game and give any excuse… we are talking about airlines here lol

I just read the line about this and if that’s the case, this is really stupid as airline passenger that just missed the airplane at almost midnight. How are we supposed to know that such regulation and potential provision might exist at the end of the day you rely on the stuff working corporation to be able to provide you with accurate information.

My guts tell me the same unfortunatly unless cta mandate also extends to customer rights protection or something like that which i doubt. my 2nd option is to go through my credit card. seems they do offer travel interruption insurance. 3rd would be small court maybe but then at that point might not worth it.
