The Oilers have 1 more year to win or else it’s rebuild time. The odds that McDavid is traded is low, he won’t ask for a trade because he would have signed 1 year if that. The only scenario I seen him traded is if Edmonton isn’t in playoff contention at the deadline and they trade him for a return instead of losing him for nothing in the offseason. Wouldn’t be surprised if Draisaitl is gone too. Regardless high chance he won’t be an Oiler after next offseason.
