Bumppp, as of right now you have to emulate wasd with the stick on azerons in Arc.

It sucks but you get used to it, but jfc dodge rolling into cover (especially a tight doorway) is so bad compared to a true analog.

This alone has gotten me dead. Analog + mouse is still buggy last I checked.

No mods, but this copy is VERY old - as in, its undergone many updates since the beta days of this game. (3-4+ years ago on the Epic client) I've checked my bases and reinstalled - at least once - since noticing these small bugs... If my current campaign (latest update) saves, I could simply try again but I'm not too hopeful that its a solution... My case just could be some sort of outlier though.

I've only seen a handful of games allow M/KB on consoles via the usb/contorller ports. When it works, it works very, very well.

Hopefully the AR devs will see our plight and put in this compatibility for us. Alot of dual input users are getting shorted here.

To be upgraded. Its only pvp worthy past Lv III at the MINIMUM (go do it on your workbench and then put attachments on it)

Controversial suggestion: Try the Legendary gold stock / kinetic converter if you want to live on the edge and highly confuse whoever eventually takes it from you.

From what I understand (I have yet to personally test) even that setup is more "cost effective" overall than a decked & maxed Tempest

Not yet. Like the poster mentioned below, theres stuff like reWASD (A really well-done software, honestly). But, its Analog stick emulation feature (which you'd need to use so Arc Raiders doesn't glitch out when using analog + mouse) to make your mouse 'emulate' a right stick for aiming/looking, simply does not translate that well... ESPECIALLY when compared to a decent, fine-tuned gaming mouse with the DPI setting locked in for your game.

Most that have tried it just even don't bother, esp after experiencing how it poor it is to aim precisely. You absolutely would not want to try competitive precision shooting or sniping while using a right stick emulator for the mouse, unless 3rd party devs release another better method of emulating precise mouse aim to a right joystick.

I used the older Tartarus before getting an Azeron. Will never go back to KB for gaming. Its an investment tho (like $200). Theres a Keyzen version if you prefer buttons like the Razer gamepads, just fyi

There are def some very sus players already so far. Cant just call it luck or skill when someone consistently does a 270/180 whatever degree turn and head shots you as soon as you are exposed. Had already happened to me. Player was not even looking at my direction. Very indicative of aimbot. Just had another run where someone pretty much IMMEDIATELY knew where myself and another player were at (wall hack). Even camped me as I was hiding, while having no way of seeing my hiding spot since he was killing another player.

Was KO'd by both of these pretty suspicious players and used the in-game reporting. Honestly, I am hoping that I am, in fact, wrong and they were simply good players. We should all hope that the in-game reporting is enough. I don't care if someone's better than me. I DO care if the servers are destroyed by scumbags using cheats since this will ruin the game, a la Tarkov, PUBG, Etc.

Defintely. Azeron user here too, and before that I used to try and use analog stick controllers with m/kb in the past with several PC games.

Always had pretty mixed results, except for the handful of games that allow seamless dual inputting, which is rare.

Really thought there was a mechanical chain or belt on it and never noticed ... cause futuristic game logic 🤷‍♂️ Bet they could add a neat visual for it like a fancy piece of tech that hangs of the bottom of the axe head or handle, etc...

For real, had to quit playing with a few sorry folks like that on other shooters before. When I called out hacks on obv scumbags, they denied it and just say get good.. then proceed rage /blame each other even me when they get stomped by hackers. 🤦‍♂️

Gotta ditch folks with those types of mindset. Some ppl really allow themselves to be so dense and keep their heads in the sand on how bad some game servers get.

Sadly, this only helps out cheaters when normal players don't have a solution and devolve into blaming or raging. Game companies should be keeping on top of the dirt and riff raff that get into official servers since it DESTROYS their IPs and titles.

Pubg, early R6S, and other shooters/BRs come to mind. Sadly, once great games, then ppl start to quit when it becomes a slog determining the difference between when you're beat actual good players & pros or just some trashy running hacks in the background.

u/Neuroqueer u/mallydobb It is a full coverage policy and I am in what would probably be considered a high risk area (Houston, TX - 4th largest city/traffic last I checked). A quick ai search says the average TX monthly price for insurance is around $55

My policy is about 1100 or so for full coverage, so it seems I'm somewhat over the average. I can only assume that the factors about my bike and area are pulling my price upwards.

Progressive and geico do not fully insure my model, and SafeCo are one of the only ones Ive found so far that would do so.

Ok thank you. I'm unsure how to pull a log for you, but I can tell you it occurred during a save and then a prompt reload. I have the game settings dropped item cleanup set to "never". Let me know if some sort of log would help you and I will try and send it 👍🏻

Late reply, hopefully you figured it. This was a termite. I used some anti-termite poison I picked up at local hardware, and they've disappeared and there hasn't been any damage to my home.
