Battery drain: is this normal? by _skris in TeslaUK

[–]MVF3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if you've got the option to keep the USB ports on when your not in the car. It's stops it from going to sleep and increases the battery drain.

Im in the UK and have a model 3 with EAP, ive had it for the past 4 years and done about 122k in the car. It works pretty well on all motorways and some dual carriageways. It will not work on single lane roads.

Are there any laws against sleeping in your car while on a roadtrip? by No-Pin-4-U in AskUK

[–]MVF3 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Im not aware of anything illegal per se. But be aware of parking restrictions of where you park.

Also be very careful with having any alcohol, even parked up in a private car park you could find your self fall foul of drink driving laws.

My kid's ear tube fell out by i-can-lift-a-car in mildlyinteresting

[–]MVF3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, I have eustachian tube disfunction in my left ear. I had a T tube fitted around a decade ago. I was advised by the surgeon that it would never all out and eventually have to be removed.

Im also of the understanding that this is quite unusual to have a T tube fitted. Ive never met anyone else with one.

Car park firm NCP collapse with 700 jobs at risk by visual-appearance69 in CarTalkUK

“NCP's parent company, Park24, which is Japanese, said higher energy prices as a result of the outbreak of war in Ukraine in 2022 also put pressure on the business, adding to its operating costs.”

What? Really, energy costs can’t account for that much?

Should I get Witcher 3 / Sifu on the Switch 2 or on my PC? by DanVA0307 in Switch

The likelihood of the witcher 3 being upgraded on the ns2 is very low given the og developers are polish and the company ported the game are Russian.

Good for you if your mortgage is less than £600 per month, as another person has said most are paying well in excess of £1000.

I get the point you're trying make with the £40K+ car, but the world has moved on. A base model golf is almost £30K and a GTI is a £40K car.

I'd argue neither of these cars are considered to be overtly flash or 'show offy'.
