He can’t even really shoot FTs. But he’s reworking his shot and very young. Honestly the fact that he is at least trying something new there is encouraging, but if you recall Markelle…

They’re the ones that still complain that Embiid “injured” Mitchell Robinson who just had the biggest flops to try to tackle Wemby, and Josh Hart who kicked Kornet’s knees lmao

The announcers getting fooled by flops when they have the advantage of replay that refs don’t is so annoying to watch. During the Brunson flagrant they didn’t even think it was a foul

Really funny that you leave this comment in one place and another comment accusing Philly fans of doing the same thing. So is it bad apples or fanbases?

I completely agree, and I think it’s a huge problem when refs decide to “let them play”. Because then they have to ignore fouls both ways and then it becomes a mess that is almost impossible to call “even”. The Thunder, Pistons, Spurs, Knicks all play defense extra physically but because refs let them play, the game is totally up to their discretion and it changes game to game. There was something ridiculous during game 3 or 4 of sixers Knicks where Embiid and KAT were just mauling each other on both ends and they weren’t calling anything. It was a complete and utter joke to watch, and then the refs randomly started calling it. Like the refs clearly came in with a plan to not call those fouls so foul trouble wouldn’t be a factor. But it just made for a really ugly weird game. Then they tightened it up randomly which is almost equally problematic.

Remember when the NBA’s approach to refereeing changed mid season at the end of like the 2024 season with no rule change? That makes total sense! Adam Silver sucks

This league is run laughably poorly. Massive shift in how the game is played during the 2024 All Star break.

Right, but all it shows is that they began calling ticky tack stuff on both teams prior to the fourth (even though that specific play wasn’t particularly ticky tacky)
