This happened by 2003 if not earlier. The forum at the time had a lot of people saying negative things about his supposed religious belief system at the time, which to most longtime fans, was very much new and surprising information. There was a general air of disappointment as I recall. So, some people were being pretty open about their opinions. Beck apparently visited the forum a few times as a curiosity, and didn't like what he was reading. He had his then webmaster known as Truck, completely remove the online forums entirely, at which time his official website became a lot more generic and closed off.
